GES is experienced in handling cash and credit card payments if your event has an entrance fee.
GES will supply cash registers, consumables and staff to operate the registers. For security and efficiency reasons separate staff are used to operate cash registers and registration terminals.
A paying visitor will purchase a ticket or serialized registration form from the cashiers and then present the completed form to the registration operators to produce a badge. This simplifies operations by separating duties and allows us to manage queues more effectively.
We can use your own credit card services, or supply you with terminals and staff to facilitate credit card payments.
We have procedures for signing over cash floats, signing back takings and cross-checking takings with tickets issued. These procedures involve the periodic transportation of cash from the registers. GES will analyse factors such as the size of the event and expected cash taking, and make recommendations on requirements such as event security, security escorts for the transportation of cash, and on-site safes.
