The supply of delegate hand-outs can be controlled by our voucher system. This is ideal for things like gala dinner tickets which, for various reasons, you may not want handed out by the main registration operators.
- Gala Dinners – Ticket allocation & collection control
- Control – Keep track of exactly who has collected how many tickets
- Monitoring – All ticket collections logged – tickets remaining clearly displayed
- Barcodes – Operations are simplified by scanning delegate badge barcodes
The system keeps track of how many vouchers/tickets have been assigned to which delegates, how many have been collected and how many are still to be collected. Given a total quantity of tickets (or seats available), and considering the number pre-allocated to delegates, the system will also indicate how many tickets are still available to be sold.
A simple interface enables an operator to scan the barcode on the delegates badge and the number of tickets allocated/collected is displayed. If tickets are available the operator can hand them over and records them in the system.
The system allows a delegate to collect tickets assigned to a different delegate, recording that “Mr A received X tickets on behalf of Mr B”. This is useful because a batch of tickets assigned to an individual in a certain company is often collected by a different person in that company.
The system is not designed so much to police the hand-outs (that is a policy the organizer should decide) as simply to keep track of who has handed what to whom.
