“Fuzzy” filters display any records that “sound like” the filter typed in. For example, if we type in “Reuben” then data like “Rubin” and “Robin” will be shown because they sound like “Reuben”. This is very useful in finding people whose names are ambiguous or have been spelled incorrectly, minimizing the need for the embarrassing question, "How do you spell that, Sir?".

The data cleaning wizard performs automatic formatting and correction of contact details. It can apply case formatting to text fields (upper, lower, initial caps), correct common mistakes in title, company and country fields, and apply consistent formatting to telephone numbers and postal addresses.

The de-duplication wizard uses a configurable algorithm to identify duplicate records. Records can be matched either by exact match or a phonetic match of the first 6 syllables. A phonetic match tests if the names “sound alike”. This allows some tolerance over differences in spelling and punctuation (“Jon” sounds like “John”, “Reuben” sounds like “Rubin”).
